City College faculty members come from institutions around the world and engage in a wide range of research in areas related to cybersecurity. When Andrew Grove gave his transformative gift to City College in 2004 the President, Gregory H. Williams, said it would “enable The City College School of Engineering to take its place among the best schools of engineering in the nation.” The Grove School of Engineering is engineering a future that will fulfill that prophesy. The school’s industry-informed approach to cybersecurity work exemplifies how academia can partner with government and the private sector to mold students and future practitioners who benefit from strong theoretical grounding and applied learning expertise.
